14 Professional Press and key company employees took part in the launch of a new DSLR camera.  This camera allowed professional photographers to experience an entirely new level of performance and creativity.

An event was required to launch this product, which would give selected press the opportunity to utilise the new facilities of this camera in an exciting environment.

The programme started at Battersea Heliport where guests were taken up by helicopter at dusk to shoot London’s skyline.  Jason Hawkes who has specialised in aerial photography since 1991, working Worldwide to produce over 35 aerial photography books, was shooting alongside the press to showcase his images later on in the evening.

When the press had their feet back on the ground, they boarded a historic route master double decker bus, which had been specially branded with advertising for the new camera.  Although it was a cold evening, the press were all up on the top deck shooting away as they passed some of the iconic London Landmarks.

The journey ended at Tom’s Kitchen in Chelsea which is owned by Michelin Starred chef Tom Aikens.   Tom became the youngest ever recipient of two Michelin stars at the age of 26. Tom's dream was always to open his own restaurant, and in 2003, he opened this restaurant.  It immediately garnered phenomenal critical acclaim, receiving a Michelin star in 2004.

Over a glass of Champagne in their private room the group enjoyed a show of the images that Jason Hawkes had taken, with the evening concluding in a delicious meal.
