Key dealers were enticed to attend by inviting them to a carefully chosen venue for this music industry event, coupled to a fun afternoon of off-road activities as an additional draw to deliver the desired audience.

The event began with an afternoon of exhilarating outdoor activities arranged within the grounds of West Lodge Park Country House Hotel just North of London and with good access and parking. All guests got time to enjoy driving Quad Bikes, Pilot Buggies, Argocats, Mini JCB Challenge, Hovercraft and Powerturn 411 machines.

After a half hour to change, guests boarded coaches to find either 'Manuel' or 'Del Boy' on board to entertain and help serve Champagne as they journeyed to Abbey Road.

After walking across the zebra crossing made famous on the Beatles album cover (and featured on the launch invite), guests were shown around the Abbey Road Studios control room (where so much legendary recording has been achieved from the 1960's right up to this year), before the new products were revealed in one the main studios, complete with demonstrations by top musicians ranging from classical through jazz and country to rock.

The finale featured a Queen medley complete with a surprise appearance by Freddie Mercury - a remarkably gifted look-alike.

Dinner followed at Quaglino's, a dazzling restaurant built on the site of the original Quaglino's - the most famous of London's 'society restaurants'.
Guests were then returned to the West Lodge Park

The newly launched range of pianos and keyboards were available next day for hands-on inspections, demonstrations and discussions with key Roland technicians and salespeople, which although planned for two hours in the morning continued until early afternoon.
