Ibiza, typically known as the party Island to most, has a lot more to offer than just clubs as one IT company found out earlier this year for their 2010 Incentive.

An incentive for 30 people was held at Ibiza Gran Hotel in May during the opening weekend of the season.  With a mixture of ages and nationalities the group wanted to experience both the typical party side to the island and have some allowance made for activities and chilling out time.

On arrival night the group was taken into Ibiza Old town, a Unesco World Heritage Site built around the 12th Century where they experienced a typically Spanish meal within the city walls. This was followed by entry to watch DJ Mark Ronson play on top of the Old Castle.  Strobe lights, an impressive sound system and views across the harbour made this a great night.

Over the weekend the group experienced a morning of beach activities followed by a delicious seafood lunch & cocktails on one of the best known beaches listening to the DJ play chill out Café Del Mar tunes.  After a hectic afternoon lapping up the blue Mediterranean Sea and white sand it was time to experience a local fish dinner in the Marina before the group headed to experience the authentic Ibiza clubbing scene that everyone knows – a night at Pacha! Costumes, dancers, in-house DJ’s playing to a packed dance floor the group enjoyed their own VIP section with waiter service all night.

A few sore heads the next morning where soon seen off as they boarded their chartered Schooner for a trip across the crystal clear waters towards the island of Formentera.  This was combined with the opportunity to swim, enjoy banana boat and ringo rides and tuck into a buffet lunch on the deck.

In the evening a final dinner just outside the city walls before a short transfer to experience more nightlife at Space where it is was opening night for the 2010 summer season!  Again the VIP Area awaited the group so they could enjoy the likes of Carl Cox, Steve Lawler and many more…..

A late flight home meant that the clients received a full day of r&r enjoying the hotel facilities, local beach and a wander into town to do some shopping.  A final farewell with drinks and canapés in La Gria lounge bar made this vibrant trip come to a magical partying end
