Our comments

From the Straits of Gibraltar to Mauritania, nature has made Morocco one of the most beautiful countries in the world- a feast for all the senses. 

Morocco is bigger than Texas, and there is room enough for a great diversity in culture as well as climate.  Marrakech has some good quality hotels and excellent restaurant to cater for a variety of tastes and group sizes.  In terms of activities, just wondering around the souks (with a guide – in small groups) is great fun, for both men and women, and a quick visit to the Marrakech museum is interesting too.   For more energetic groups,  a jeep safari in the Atlas mountains, for instance, is a great way to combine an activity with exploring the countryside.

Sample Itinerary

Day 1 

  • Arrival into Marrakech Menara Intl Airport
  • Transfer to the hotel in the centre of Marrakech (15 mins)
  • Remainder of afternoon at leisure, relax in the spa
  • Transfer to the exquisite Riad Tamsna for pre-dinner drinks on the roof terrace followed by dinner under the stars in the courtyard

Day 2

  • Breakfast in Hotel.
  • Morning orientation of Marrakesh, by horse-drawn carriages visiting the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, Yves St Laurent Gardens
  • Brief time for shopping in the modern area of Gueliz
  • Poolside lunch at Dar Moha, a 19th century palatial house in the Medina
  • Discover the many labyrinths of the Souks and the spectacle of the world famous Djamaa El Fna Square
  • Dinner with Entertainment at Jad Mahal, a happening and atmospheric venue in the modern area of the Hilvernage

Day 3 

  • Breakfast in Hotel.
  • Jeep safari into the foothills of the Majestic Atlas Mountains.
  • Experience driving quad bikes along an exhilarating course, designed by ex-European Quad Bike Champion, Louis Vander Plas
  • A barbeque lunch awaits at the remote, yet very stylish Relais Berber
  • Continue your adventure with a camel ride, prior to your return to Marrakech
  • Dinner at the best Fantasia venue in Marrakech, the Borj Bladi, to enjoy the traditional Moroccan horse show

Day 4

  • Breakfast in Hotel.
  • Time to do last minute shopping, play golf or just relax
  • Buffet lunch at the hotel
  • Transfer to Menara Intl Airport
